On November 2-3, the 6th New Chemistry and New Materials Graduate Academic Forum of Shanghai University of Engineering and Technology was successfully held at Shanghai University of Engineering and Technology and Shanghai Shidande Standard Technical Service Co., Ltd. This forum is hosted by the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, and more than 120 experts and graduate students from universities such as East China Normal University, East China University of Science and Technology, and Donghua University participated in the forum.
The expert report meeting was held at the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Shanghai University of Engineering and Technology. Professor Wang Jinguo, Dean of the School, and Professor Li Lu, Deputy Director of the Graduate School, delivered speeches respectively. Professor Wang Jinguo introduced the basic situation of the college in undergraduate and graduate education, discipline degrees, and talent cultivation, emphasizing that the attending experts and graduate students will jointly explore cutting-edge issues and application technologies in biomedicine, chemistry, and materials science, which will effectively promote the development of our college's disciplines such as pharmacy and chemical engineering. Professor Li Lu elaborated on the development history, current situation, and future plans of graduate education in our university.
